This is actually a “cheater” version of alfredo, but who cares? It is YUMMY and much cheaper than ordering it off of a menu.
8 oz. bar cream cheese, cubed
3/4 c. grated parmesan cheese
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. milk
1-2 garlic cloves, smashed
salt & pepper to taste
Combine all of the above and combine over low heat, stirring constantly. When it’s smooth and creamy, toss it with cooked pasta.
NOTE: A smattering of red pepper flakes may very well increase its delightfulness for you.
